Not that anyone other than me checks this particular part of the forum or anything, but on the off chance that someone does check, over on the Facebook incarnation of the Badgerboard. Since many people seem leery of trying to do a full-fledged book club, I decided to try doing a short story club in which we pick a short story every month and people read said story and comment on it by the end of said month.

Fucked up. I'm sure you've all heard about the shooting at a mall in Omaha. I see stuff like Columbine and Virginia Tech on TV, but it's crazy to think that this would happen in a mall that I've been to a million times.

I hope that Everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had a quiet Thanksgiving. Chels had to work yesterday and I am working today so it was small but really nice.

She put 900 Dollars on the 5th horse in the 6th race. I think his name was Chips Ahoy. ...I've got a girl and she doesn't have to work...see she can tell what horse will finish first.

I was actually listening to Paula Cole "Where have all the cowboys gone?" Shedding a tear for our little board. I read some of Brian's old threads with my wife chelsey.
